Scott began his career at the Republican National Committee as a campaign operative for the late GOP Strategist Lee Atwater.
After a 3 year stint at the RNC, Scott worked as political director for Karl Rove before launching his own communications firm in 1993.
To date, Scott has played a major role in the election of 18 U.S Senators and Governors and more than a hundred congressional, state and local campaigns. Notable victories include Ron Johnson’s come-from-behind victory in 2016 and Kristi Noem’s election as the first female Governor of South Dakota in 2018. Scott’s client list includes US Senator Lindsey Graham, US Senator John Thune, former President George W. Bush, American Airlines, the Dallas Cowboys, The Texas Rangers Baseball Club, and the Oil and Gas Industry to name a few.
Scott lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife Julie. They have two children.
