Streaming Viewership Outranks Cable and Broadcast TV

For the first time ever, Americans are now watching more Streaming than Cable and Broadcast TV.

Yes, you read that correctly. In July, Streaming viewership outranked Cable and Broadcast TV. As Streaming has and continues to significantly increase during an Election Year, campaigners should be aware that traditional media no longer has the grip on its audience that it once had in previous cycles.

Why is this such a big deal? Streaming has surpassed broadcast before, but July was the first month to also exceed cable viewing. Which means, the data explicitly implies voters are becoming fatigued with traditional media consumption and are looking to streaming platforms more than ever before.

With less than 85 days until Election Day, it is critical that your campaign utilizes Streaming as it is where the vast majority of viewers are. The time is NOW for your campaign to start advertising on OTT/CTV platforms.
