The Challenge

Dermatology and Laser Center of Charleston tasked Push Digital with raising awareness and promoting their new Nexton location opening in August 2020. With the current pandemic and many events being canceled, we knew we needed to get the word out earlier rather than later about the grand opening event which was taking place both virtually and in-person for a limited number of people.

The Solution

Working alongside the Dermatology and Laser Center of Charleston team, Push Digital developed a digital marketing strategy that helped build awareness and boost attendance both virtually and in-person, across Facebook, Instagram, and email.

Utilizing our team of creative designers, we created a countdown series to build excitement around the grand opening and posted to Dermatology and Laser Center’s Facebook and Instagram so that current fans and clients would know about the upcoming event. However, because organic content is only shown to a small portion of a page’s fans and followers, we put advertising dollars behind the posts to promote and reach more of our fans and users in the local area.

Adding an additional layer to our strategy, we made use of Facebook’s powerful event promotion tool to house all event details and promote the event to our fans, email list, and a lookalike of each of these audiences. Using Facebook’s event promotion objective allows the platform to put the event in front of people who are most likely to attend.

Finally, we built out an email strategy that allowed us to inform the team’s existing client and email base about the new location and the grand opening at no additional cost.

The Results

Overall, we saw great success and turnout. We were able to reach tens of thousands of Facebook users in the area at a low cost and saw above-average open and click-through rates with our email strategy.
